WATSU® SESSION INFORMATION

Before you arrive for your session...

PLEASE PRINT THE PAGES UNDER “INTAKE FORMS”,
FILL OUT THE FOUR PAGES BEFORE YOU COME
AND BRING THEM TO YOUR SESSION.
THANK YOU.

• Please arrive quietly no more than 5 – 10 minutes before your session begins. (This will allow time to shower before entering the pool.)

Your Aquatic session will take place in a very private salt-water pool.

The unique 94-97 degree saline water is chemical free, and maintained at the highest level of integrity.

To ensure the highest quality of the environment and water, please honor and ensure the following:

PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP WHEN ENTERING THE GATE AND AROUND THE POOL AREA.

When arriving with others, please lower your voices as you enter the grounds.
In most cases, you will be arriving as someone else is ending a session.

• The AqOasis pool and garden area is cell-phone and wireless free; please see that your communication devices are turned off before entering the property.

• Ample street parking is available. We ask that you be respectful to all the surrounding neighbors.
Please do not park in the driveway.

• Please enter the gate on the EAST side, left-hand side of the property. The gate opens and pulls towards you on the left hand side. Please carefully close the gate behind you. On the property is one large friendly dog, named Cosmo. He may greet you upon arrival.

Please do not use the front door or the house, to enter or exit for your aquatic session.

Your practitioner or therapist will meet you on the pool’s deck. Feel free to quietly relax on the deck or in the studio, even if a session is taking place.

Please honor the bathroom, showers, deck and pool portion as the “wet areas” and the studio portion as a “dry area”. Thank you.

Hygiene Protocols and What to Bring to Your Session:

Very important protocols– to maintain pristine water. We request special attention to hygiene.
Thank you for your consideration.

Shower before you arrive!

UPON ARRIVAL AND BEFORE ENTERING THE POOL:

SHOWER AND SOAP FEET, ARM PITS AND PRIVATE PARTS, EVEN IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE CLEAN . . . THIS GREATLY HELPS TO REDUCE AND PREVENT BACTERIA IN THE POOL.
THANK YOU.

Please see that all skin and hair: products, lotions, perfumes, colognes, deodorant, and cosmetics are removed from your skin and hair, if not before you arrive, definitely before entering the pool.

Bring with you:

A swimsuit (required) one piece preferable, shower sandals or thongs and a large towel.
Plastic bag for wet clothes.
Lycra shorts/leggings and fitted top/tank/rash guard are also a nice alternative to wear over swimsuit or in place of:
this can assist with reducing sun exposure or during the cooler weather these extra layers can add to your comfort.

Examples:

Ear plugs and hair tie-back if needed.

Two (2) quarts of a non-alcoholic liquid to drink immediately after your session.

Intake/release forms and payment.

Please provide payment before session, when your practitioner or therapist reviews your intake/release forms
with you.

It’s generally a good idea to go light on food before your session.
Reduced activity after your session is also a good consideration, as you will be very relaxed.

   Enjoy your aquatic session!

After Session:

Drink plenty of water to re-hydrate. Your body may be in a detoxification, cleansing mode.

Use electrolyte replacement if necessary. (Emer’gen-C packets or electrolyte enhanced water.)

To dry out your ears: use equal parts rubbing alcohol and distilled vinegar.
Place a few drops in each ear. It will dry them out.

Please check in with your practitioner if you have any concerns.
